Hanging

Our tomatoes are HANGING upside down in buckets.

We apparently got the dates for the hanging and public photo hunts confused. You can see our Public Photo Hunt here.

Wow, looks like the upside down buckets are doing well. Our human sister did some potted tomatoes. The little ones were so excited to see about a dozen tomatoes growing. Sadly it looks like some worms got them all:(

My mom has thought about trying that but, well, the fact is that her thumb is less than green - poor thing.

Oh yours are looking SO much better than ours. Something ate all our hangin tamater leafs. We think a hornworm got the leafs and then a bird got the hornworm.

I can see your "hanging" tomatoes are growing nicely!
Without a yard here, maybe that is a good option for my grandma!
Happy saturday!

We had trouble with worms & bugs too, Daddy had to put some Seven stuff on them to keep the worms and bugs at bay. One tomato looked like it DIED but Mommy trimmed it back and it put out new growth.

One of the bad things about the upside down tomatoes is they has to be watered EVERY DAY. They dry out really fast.

PS: They are up too high for us to whapp.
