Thursday in the Garden with Artemisia

I get to show you around the garden today.

We discovered when you leave the Herman's Pride in the shade the leaves turn green. They are yellow when you plants them in sunshine.

An ornamental pepper, it died (we thinks it drowned). It is one of our gardening failures.

The Nemesia. Mommy has planted this in the Charybdis Bed now. It looked prettier in the pot.

Devil's Trumpet

It had lots of blooms on it before the bugs got it.

Gladiolas

The Foxglove, we are so happy with it. We bought one last year and it was all different colors. It reseeded itself and now we has lavender, pink and white foxgloves all in the bed. And it spread so well Mommy was able to transplant some to the Charybdis bed as well as the Rose Garden beds.

We are trying some of the Herman's Pride around the Whiskers bed. Mommy just planted it.

Mexican Petunias

Stokes Aster

Be sure to drop by Jonesie's to see more gardens.

Wow--that's a really nice garden! The Human never heard of half that stuff and even if she had, she would only have killed it dead anyway :-(

What a lovely tour you gave us today, Artemisia. Too bad about the bugs on the devil's trumpet and the drowning of the pepper. Our angel trumpet has about six buds grwoing now. Mom is so hoping the wind and rain don't come again and spoil them. It would be so nice to see that many blooms at one time.

Happy Thursday in the garden.

Artemisia, your garden is so beautiful. We had some devil's trumput just pop up last year at the side of the house and it was beautiful. The lawn guys cut it down! They thought it just another weed. It had gotten really bit and was blooming so pretty. We have no idea where it came from but it was here for awhile until they just cut it down! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
