Thursday in the Garden

This is one of our Kalanchoes, we has a yellow one too, but it is not blooming.

Mommy was pleasantly suprised at how well this one has done.

A little wildflower that is living in a pot in the greenhouse. Mommy loves how delicate it looks and the purplish color.

Our buttercup blooming away in the greenhouse. Do you see the Mother-in-law's Tongue in the back.

Weeds that are growing in the greenhouse. Mommy needs to go weed in there. It looks like a jungle.

We  are happy to report that the bulbs Mommy planted around the Japanese Magnolia and the Confederate Rose are coming up. We needs Daddy to go weedeat the bulb bed before those bulbs start coming up. It looks very snaky with all the weeds and grass in there.  Daddy did some more work on the Hummingbird Cottage Saturday and would you believe in SNOWED here Sunday. Just a few flurries and it melted as soon as it hit the ground but at least the Mom got to show Daddy it was snowing last week when it snowed he didn't believe her and told her she was imagining it.

Mommy got to feeling better and Friday when it was in the 70's she went outside and cut down all the dead stuff in the front flower bed. The next nice day she will work in the Butterfly Garden. We noticed the verbena is growing in the long bed but it is covered up with leaves. We are off to visit Jonesie & Figaro  now and see what they are up to, why don't you come along with us.

Mom has never had any luck getting kalanchoes to bloom. They only have flowers when they are purchased. Yours is so pretty, and such a lovely color.

Gardening is a never-ending task. But the results of good hard work are beautiful.

Hey contrats on such a lovely greenhouse! So many people are busy digging out of snow drifts. I'm grateful to be in AZ but I don't have a greenhouse garden. Really beautiful! Keep up the great work.

For other folks (all of you kitties and doggies are certainly people!) reading this, check out my blog. I manage a homeless cat colony and a few foster cats. Get your ‘beans to check it out!
Hey, wonderful creatures stay well!

Greetings,

We are so happy that there are flowers where you are at. Though we have no snow like in other parts of America, where we are it is rather cold, even when the sun is out.

Warmest regards,
Miss Kitty and Egmont
