Tsarina Tuesday

I was sound asleep on Mommy's comfy blanket when she started taking my picture and woke me up.

I guesses I can sacrifice some shut eye so my adoring public can get their cute fix for the day.

What's not to love curly tummy furs and my cute little nose and even some toes.

On a more serious note I has been getting in ticks. Mommy had to take me to the vet to get one off. I had managed to scratch the ticks body off and get blood all over my back but the head was still attached and burrowing into my skins (bad ticks). Mommy freaked when she saw my bloody back hence the trip to the vet. We are going to use Frontline Plus for the ticks (but it doesn't work on fleas) and 2 weeks later Advantage Multi for the fleas and heart-worms. Mommy doesn't like having to double dose me, but I has a problem with both. The Vet recommended this so we feel like it will be OK.

Sweety, Tell your mommy. She may need to shampoo you first before put the treatments on.
Tick / Flea shampoo will kill the tick or flea first.
Treatment will protect you from Tick or Flea.

You know I have loose stool because I have a worm, so some friends of mom recommend me to use Revolution Blue. Because we are indoor / outdoor kitty. Revolution prevents heartworm disease and also treats and controls ear mites, hookworms, and roundworms in one hit. Here the link

For Tick/Flea Shampoo , I use this last time when I got tick and Flea http://www.petspoint.com.au/cat-supplies/cat-health-care/vetbasix-flea-tick-shampoo-375ml.html

I'm not sure your mom use to shampoo you or not, but she have to make sure after shampoo, she have to dry you properly. Kitties fur is hard to dry. My dad used the drier and towel to dry me. And just shampoo you once ! and then after 24 hours use the treatment.
The rest, Your mom have to do big clean your house before the tick escape and lay the eggs !

Big Purrs for you

YIKES! I had to remove some ticks this year from Finn. I can understand the emergency trip to the vet!

Awwww beautiful Artemisia! Me and Charlie are so sorry you are getting nasty horrid ticks on you! They are truly not nice! I only ever had one kitty that was bitten by a tick and it was straight to the vets and some tweezers!! Yuck! Poor kitties!! Bad ticks!

Take care and hope the ticks go away! x

Oh, boy! I know how it is to be having a nice snooze and then snap, snap, snap! But it sure was thoughtful of you to lets your mom enjoy your adorableness!

Sorry abouts the ticks! Ewww! You could always move to Collie-rado. We don't really have anything like that around where we live. Fleas either!

We used ta get ticks when we went outside. TBT got real good at pickin them off. Not like they got much time ta burrow in. But pryin the out carefully IS really important.
