Thursday in the Garden

Mommy got these Mums for Thanksgiving and planted them in the flowerbed once it was warm enough. They seem to be very happy in their new home.

The Gold Flame Honeysuckle is blooming.

This Azalea blooms a few weeks before the rest of ours do. Our neighbors Azaleas are blooming too.

This is a wildflower, Mommy doesn't remember it's name but she LOVES IT. It is an evergreen shrub and it has these lovely pink bell shaped flowers.
It lives down by our pond. She has tried to root it but hasn't had any luck.

The Rooster Violet is doing great.

Our Herman's Pride and Golden Globe is coming back. And the Bugleweed is blooming. Once upon a time we were going to have just Bugleweed in this bed but it all died, at least we thought it did. Several years later this one started coming back up.

The Shasta Daisy is back, and look Mommy got the flowerbed weeded.

This is the bed of Mexican Petunias they are coming back up too.

Now we are off to Jonesie's, to make our report to The Society of Feline Gardeners. Want you come along to see what everyone else has in their garden.

We love them all, but are those first ones Gailardia (or some werd like that)? We have had those and they seem to wander all over the place.

The plant your mommy loves looks like swamp doghobble or sweetbells. It can be grown from seed or root cuttings if that is what it is.
