Wildlife Wednesday

The Goslings have grown up. Mommy took these pictures in the dark again, so we apologize for the poor quality.

Some of you have asked about goose poop. They pretty much stays down at the pond and in the tall grass so it isn't really a problem for us.

Some of you have also mentioned how mean geese are, these geese seem to have good manners, we don't bother them and they don't bother us. They didn't even bother Mr. Who when he chased them they just got in the pond.

We imagine they will be flying off soon. This is the first time we have gotten to see the goslings grow up. Usually they leaves before they grows up.

We thinks they stuck around this year because the field next door is all grown up with thick woods. It used to be a field of grass that was mown for hay every year, but ever since the old lady died several years ago they stopped baling hay there and let it grow up.

We enjoyed getting to see the goslings grow up we hope you did too.

That was fun watching the little geese grow up. We have never had goose babies here. We have one couple that comes to visit when we have a pond. Hope all of you have a great day.

So glad A.T. is doing better.

And those goslings really grow fast! They got a slow start here in AZ - used to see them as little in April/May - now in June they are just starting to come out.
