Scylla Sunday

I have always just loved Fenris' KONG toys so I was thrilled when KONG approached us about doing a product review for CAT TOYS. They sent me lots of nice stuff.

I meowed at Mommy to put the KONG Cat Scratcher together for me. Mom I thinks you should read the directions. The silly woman wasn't suppose to take it out of the box. Don't worry after she read the directions she got it fixed correctly.

I'll just play with this while I wait for her to get her act together. She did open the KONG Naturals Premium Catnip.

Mommy likes the fact it is grown in North America.

I just love the way it smells. I could sniff it all day, she sprinkled some on the scratcher for me.

It's really potent. I talked Mommy into sprinkling it on some of my old toys too.

Exactly what am I suppose to do with this Mom?

Why would I want to scratch it?

I would rather sniff it.

Mommy tried inclining it to get my interest.

Then she got the bright idea to put it with my castle.

That's better Mom as soon as I get through overdosing on nip I'll come give it a look.

I loved rubbing against it.

Oops knocked it over but I like it better likes this, Mommy can't see me now.

You don't think Mommy has found me do you?

Well if she found me I'll just see what else I can do with the scratcher.

I told Mommy to incline it back against my castle. I likes knocking it over.

I am taking a break to play with the Cyclone. Mommy put some of the KONG nip in it and it's just like new.

I am trying to figure out if I could crawl under the KONG Cat Scratcher. Mommy says I will have to loose some weight first. I never did use it as a scratcher, but Mommy isn't surprised I have never shown any inclination to use the scratch box (also made of cardboard) or the speed bump (another cardboard scratcher) as a scratching post. Really there is no point is scratching things if the humans don't get upset about it, carpet and door frames are my preferred prey. But I did enjoy rubbing against the scratcher and inhaling the nip, and knocking it over

We checked out the KONG website and they have lots of neat toys for cats. I am hoping to have a chance to check out the Kickeroo products ( I loves to kick)  and I am MEOWING for Mommy to get me my very own Wubba. I used to play with Fenris' Wubba (even though it was way to big for me) until he deaded it. I thinks I miss his Wubba as much as he does. And since Mommy is always harping on my need to loose weight maybe I should take a gander at the Active Toys.

Now her stinginess due to my need to loose weight was very stingy dispensing the treats. I usually don't like moist treats I prefer the crunchy ones but I liked these. They are kinda crunchy and moist at the same time. They were made with REAL DUCK. Who knew those birds tasted so good. Don't worry I am not going to try to catch one they are much to big I'll let the humans do all the work. I prefer my meat properly cooked and presented in my bowl. I am not into roughing it. For the longest time I thought meat grew in cans and bags. Socks had to explain how the meat got in the cans and bags to me (GROSS) I don't want to think abouts it. But Duck taste GOOD. Mommy likes the fact they are healthy snacks and that Duck and Chicken are the first two ingredients. She is also pleased to see Cranberries and Blueberries included.

KONG Soft Moist Cat Treats are great tasting, all natural and have no wheat, soy, corn or animal by-products. With added cranberries for urinary tract support and taurine for an essential dietary requirement for feline health.
Ingredients
Duck, Chicken, Vegetable Glycerin, Cultured Dextrose, Taurine, Cranberries, Blueberries, Mixed Tocopherols (a Natural Preservative)
Guaranteed Analysis
Crude Protein (minimum): 28%
Crude Fat (minimum): 10%
Crude Fiber (maximum): 2%
Moisture (maximum): 21%

Since they are good for me Mommy is going to take a look at the Treat Dispensers. I am not big on playing by myself and she thinks I might play with these more as I would have a food reward, but I would have to work for it. And she would have to figure out how to make sure Socks didn't have a chance to get any of the treats. He is on a y/d diet for his thyroid and can not have any other foods. I feel bads for him because they don't make y/d treats. Maybe one day somebody will.

Hope you enjoyed my Scylla Sunday I certainly did. ~Scylla reporting for ATCAD

We hope you will like your cardboard scratcher :) Sissy liked to scratch the carpet. I purchased two cardboard scratchers for her: one flat and one wave. She loved them! I even had to replace them because she really worked them over.

Pee ess: How rotten your mommy is stingy with the treats :(

What a great review. You did love that nip and it made everything like new again. I loved how you did everything with the scratcher except scratch it lol.
