Wild Bird and Wildflower Wednesday with Scylla

As part of my weight loss program I has been walking with Mommy.

We see lots of interesting things. This is a MOCKINGBIRD, they are very rude birds that try to dive bomb me and Mommy. We has bobwhites too, but we haven't seen them. Mommy just hears them and she can recognize their song.

Mommy's Angel Trumpet is doing really well this year.

Daddy's wildflower bed has lots of pretty flowers in it.

Mommy says this might be Queen Anne's Lace but she isn't sure.

Our Aster.

Thanks to TBT, Mommy was inspired to try to find the macro setting on her camera.

She found it and got a shot of the Whirling Butterflies in vivid color. Looks really nice doesn't it. But then she lost the macro setting again (sigh) it is really hard to get too.

She found lots of other things she could do. Like just have one color show up. This is what happened when she picked purple to be the color.

Our Yellow Bells is a mass of blooms.

The Coral Bean has tons of blooms and the Hummingbirds came to visit so we will have BEANS!!!!!!!

OK, time for more walking we can't sit around all day admiring the flowers and taking their pictures.

To get the maximum benefits of my workout I swish my tail around while we walk. Tails need exercise too.

Tails Up forward march.

There is pretty things in the front yard too.

Victoria Blue Salvia.

Pineapple Sage, it is blooming early this year.

Thanks to the Oak Trees there are patches of bear ground where you can take a nice dust bath.

I thinks I will do that while Mommy takes some pictures of the potted plants.

The Superbells look nice don't they.

Flying Colors Red (Diascia hybrid)

Bleeding Heart, Lantana and Dusty Miller.

I hope you enjoyed walking with me. ~Scylla, exercising for ATCAD

Scylla, what a joy to join you on your walk! Thank you for asking me along. I hard my tail way way up too, and I haven;t had the opportunity of a dust bath in OH so long! I love your Daddy's Indian Blanket and if I knew where mommy could get some, I would make her plant them. You have a wonderful garden just right for birdies, kitties and wild things. xxooxx
