Thursday in the Garden with Scylla

Mom was doing things with the camera again. This is the ornamental pepper. The only way she can get it to go in macro is to do color swap.

Finally one of the pepper the right color. You can actually eat the pepper, but it is very HOT. It has delicate purple flowers and then purple peppers.

They Hydrangeas are blooming.

Candy Corn Cuphea.

Firecracker Cuphea

The Angel Trumpet, it had lots of blooms this year.

I just love the Hummingbird Cottage in the Spring. It looks so pretty.

WE has lots to do though. Having flowers sure is hard work.

Chinese Bell Flower

Mommy has to water the plants in pots when it doesn't rain. I has to watch her and make sure she doesn't water ME.

We just LOVE the Trailing Princess, it is drought tolerant and is doing excellent in the hanging basket.

Mommy decided to make a succulent and cactus garden in the large wood container in the back yard. That way she wouldn't have to water them often.  They are very interesting looking.

This is Pleiospilos Nelii Royal Flush Split Rock Succulent.

Mommy took some interesting pictures for us to enjoy.

I likes it when the hydrangea is BLUE, sometimes it is pink. Mommy says it depends on the soil.

I hopes you enjoyed the garden tour, would you like to join me on the front porch for some snacks and cool water. ~Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

Mom always loved driving through Cape Cod where the hydrangeas are almost always blue - big and beautiful too. Your Angel Trumpet is doing so well. We have one big Devil Trumpet ready to open but a few of the others dried up and fell off:( We have had way too much rain for all of our plants so far:(
