Tuiren Tuesday ~ A Vistor

Daddy let the grass get too high and we had a visitor.

A very scary visitor. Here is what happened. Mom was eating supper at the picnic table and she had given me and Fenris our supper too, so we didn't even notice the excitement. Mommy saw a Mockingbird dive bombing something and she wondered what it was after. When it got to a patch of not so high grass, Mommy saw it.

A SNAKE!!!!!!!

Mommy went got Daddy and he made sure it wasn't a poisonous snake, they think it was a Black Snake. Then Daddy, Mommy and the Mockingbird that lives in the Oak Tree in our backyard ran it off.

I got to see Mommy's up front flowers when she took me to the vet for my semi-annual checkup. I thinks they look nice. I got a good report although I have gained more weight. ~Tuiren, reporting for ATCAD

Snakes are beautiful in theor own way! That one is shiny and sleek!

Growlmy likes snakes, and we mostly do not have to worry about poisonous snakes here, just the Mattawan Rattler, but she has nevfur seen one.
The prettiest snake we evfur saw here was a Blue Racer.

Glad you had a good vet report. MJF is healthy too, but um...well, he too is getting rather portly.

I think it's a black snake, too. They're great for ridding the yard of other varmints, but can definitely make your heart skip a beat!
I hope to see you dropping by http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-other-worldly-insect-world.html to link up!

Yikes! Snakes scare me. Well, EVERYTHING scares me, so..... I'm sorry about the weight gain. Around here, that usually means treat restriction. Bummer.

We're glad it wasn't a poisonous snake but we think daddy better get out there and cut the grass to keep all the snakes away. We're lucky that we don't have any poisonous snakes around here but the garter snakes still make mom scream and jump. BOL!

Good thing it wasn't a poisonous snake. Not that we'd like to meet any snake.

Hi Y’all!

Black snakes are good luck and they keep lots of rodents and stuff at bay. My Human won't let me sniff any snake though.

My Human thinks movin' a blog, especially a long established one, is akin to movin' into a different house. It takes awhile to get everything unpacked and put away and even longer to remember where everything is.

Check us out at our new home http://www.browndogcbr.net.

Our theme is still changing periodically as we try to select one that works the best for us and you, our readers.
