Thursday in the Garden

We have lots of flowers that bloom in fall and look simply stunning. The Cape Honeysuckle looks lovely all year.

Our Goldenrod and Sweet William are blooming.

The Pineapple Sage and Ironweed are blooming.

The Black-eyed Susans really put on a show.

The Firespikes and Chinese Bell Flower are blooming.

The dwarf Mexican Petunias are blooming, they need to be thinned out as they are taking over the bed.

We really love the Sweet William.

The Ironweed and Goldenrod look amazing together.

The Sniffie Rose is blooming.

We think yellow, blue and purple look great together.

This is the Mexican Sage Mommy planted this year.

Some of our readers say that all we have to do is play and look cute. Boy are they lucky to live somewhere where they do not have to WORK we has jobs here. We are suppose to keep the mice out of the garage (Daddy doesn't like them eating his waders), provide entertainment for the people, help with the gardening, and lots of other stuffs we are just learning about. Socks is a great teacher and we are learning a lot from him. ~Socks, Yin and Yang, reporting for ATCAD

According to my human, I am a failure at keeping the house rat and mice free - I love to stalk them, but I never catch any!

Socks was a wonderful mouser when he was younger, but he says it is to much work now. He has agreed to teach Yin and Yang the finer points of hunting. Scylla is a complete failure as a hunter, we once saw a mouse sitting right by her in the garage.

Socks, good for you to teach Yin and Yang how to hunt. That is a important skill to have plus it is great fun. Those sure are a bunch of gorgeous flowers. Have a great day.

Of course, you are busy kittens! That awesome yard has nooks and crannies that have to be investigated for vermin. There are so many places you can go that Socks is too big to fit into. No one can entertain like kittens, either :)

Pee Ess: The human thinks orange and blue look fabulous together, too :)
