Mancat Monday - Raining Crawdads and Kittens

We got so much rain the crawdads are coming out everywhere. They make good snacks.

And I have my rainwater to drink again.

Mommy thinks drinking off sidewalks is disgusting. What does she know. ~Socks, reporting for ATCAD

  1. Wow, we use to catch crawdads with bent pins when I was a kid. Do you also eat them? Sort of like ecrivisses, no?

  2. Crawdads?! I've never seen one! My human says she saw some as a kid in some place called Ferndell in a part of L.A. she wants to go live in again - even though there aren't any crawdads there anymore. But how cool it must be to have them come out in the rain and snack on them!

  4. Eating and drinking from the ground is delicious. Mom doesn't understand it either. She says the word, "Why do I bother putting fresh cool spring water into your bowl?? Ugh!" Don't knock it till you try it, humans....
