Thursday in the Garden

Our Tickseed, you don't have to be afraid of it, it doesn't have ticks. We don't know why people call it that.

Coral Bean, the Hummingbirds love it.

Roses and Whirling Butterflies.

Crossvine

Butterfly Flower, if you look the blue blooms look like butterflies.

Yin is making sure Mommy gives all the plants enough water.

These succulents are doing great in the hanging basket with the Trailing Princess.

In case you haven't noticed the hanging basket has butterflies on it.

The Royal Purple Queen

The Whirling Butterflies when they are neat and tidy. Mommy got another hot pink one for this bed.

A basket with just Trailing Princess in it, for some reason this plant did better than the other one and got much bigger.

And our favorite wildflower, it has gone to seed now. Daddy gathered the seeds so maybe we will have even more next year.

Mommy read us The Dalai Lama's Cat, she posted a book review here.

Whirling Butterflies, I am in LOVE. What a lovely and ever-surprising garden. I know the pleasure of gardens and wish I could see this one! Mine is tiny, but still....

Mommy said small gardens have advantages like less weeding.

How lovely! This makes me wish I had a green thumb. But, alas, I do not.
