Don't worry these are old pictures from when I had my spay and hernia repair. I was so traumatized I couldn't talk about it until now. I got a cute certificate for being so brave.

Mommy stuffed me in a sock to keep me from messing with my stitches.

But I wiggled.

And jiggled.

and did a few more super secret moves I will not reveal.

and got it off my front paws.

Mommy picked me up and put it back on my front paws.

But then I repeated the procedure and got it completely off.

So then they stuck me in a cone, because................................... Don't look if you are squeamish.

I got my stitches out and had to be sewn back up again.

MOL, Mommy says I am as slippery as a fish, behave worse than Scylla (something about stealing Mommy's food while she is eating it) and very determined to have my own way and do what I want. Thanks for visiting everyone. ~Chimera

You are like a magician, Chi! Moms old dog took out her own stitches once, they she had to get staples! But only after Mom almost had a nervous breakdown...

Love and licks,

OH, you bad kitty. But did you try to put your mama in a sock and see how she would get out? You are one smart little kitty except for making your wound worse. Hey, happens. Mine looked sort of like that but closed, haha.

Chimera you are a wily little kitty. We think the sock would have been better than the cone though.

Now that is talent! How on earth did you get the sock off?

I bet you wished you'd left the sock on after getting more stitches and the cone of shame ;-)

Too bad...that cone of shame would have been a lot harder to get off...and more uncomfortable too, but um, you sure are a kitty version of Houdini! MOL!
Hope all that is way behind you now and nothing but a vague memory...and a bad dream for your Mommy!
