Tuiren Tuesday

Mom, Oh Mom it's time to feed me.

When the weather is nice I get to eat in the Jungle Gym.

I like eating here, especially if the Mom is in the porch swing.

That way I can keep an eye on her while I eat.

Let's see what happened here since the last time I barked with you.

Well it got real cold (in the 20s) for about a week. It was miserable I tell you. Now it is in the 70s again. Unseasonably warm for this time of year but we aren't complaining. The Mom went down to the Butterfly Garden and did some weeding. And she put out a lot of fire ant poison. Those nasty critters built HUGE ant beds in Mommy's flower beds and for those of you who don't have fire ants, THEY HURT REALLY BAD WHEN THEY BITE YOU.

The Dad has been too busy to take Mom kayaking and he lowered the pond so she can't go kayaking in there either. And since he took his truck with the kayak transport with him she couldn't run away and kayak either. So I don't have to worry about her drowning or anything.

I am very glad about that. So gad that I am giving everyone a big smile. ~Tuiren

Our Mom gets huge sores where they bite her unless she takes an antihistamine right after.

We don't like the sound of fire ants, they sound vicious. More vicious than any deer!

You have a great spot to eat -- dining al fresco!

We hope Sock is recovering well. Purrs and peace.

Those fire ants are horrible. Jan has had numerous run-ins with them and she has always lost.

Glad your mom won't be able to drown!
