Scylla Sunday

(Just let me snap a quick selfie) Can you believe it, I am the oldest cat here now. I will be 11 on my birthday. But since the kittens have come to live with us I am happier and more playful. I have also lost weight and feel a lot better.

Sometimes Yang can be a bit of a nuisance. He LOVES to play. Which is fine when I want to play. I don't even mind him grabbing my tail.

With Yang it is best to always keep the high ground.

MOL, sometimes he looks so silly.

It's hard to stay grouchy with him, but sometimes he makes me growl, hiss and scream. He just won't take NO for an answer. As in NO I DON'T WANT TO PLAY RIGHT NOW.

Do you have a sibling who has a hard time taking NO for an answer? How do you handle it?

Most of the time we get along very well. But how on earth did that scrawny kitten get bigger than me!

I should have put him in his place when he was smaller, Yin is the only one who can make him mind now. When they wrestle SHE always wins. ~Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

My human says I helped make things more lively here for Binga and Boodie when I moved in!

Scylla, I am with YOU! My sis-fur Paprika is a great pest jumping on me & wanting to wrestling. Sometimes I do but usually I give her "THE LOOK" and then she tried to get the human to play. Paprika is relentless.

But here's what I REALLY want to know. How did you lose weight? My human tells me I am too chubby and I know I have slowed down so am dying to know your, um secrets for losing the pounds!

Hugs, Peaches the cat

I completely understand. Marie doesn't do a very good job deferring to her elders. I growl, hiss, whap and occasionally get into unfriendly tussles to make that youngin' leave me alone.

My veterinarian put me on Hill's Prescription Diet® Metabolic https://www.hillspet.com/cat-food/pd-metabolic-plus-urinary-stress-feline-dry

They measured me to figure out how much I should weigh and then they decided how much I should be feed to reach my goal and stay healthy. I get 1/4 cup dry food in the morning and another 1/4 cup at night, or I can have 1/2 can of wet cat food. ~Scylla

Scylla, you don't look a day over eight...nine years TOPS! We have Angel sequestered from Manny and Chili now; they just don't like each other, and too much fighting happens; makes us humans all nervous and shaky.

Scylla such great photos, especially #1 and #5. The one of Yang grabbing your tail gave us a great chuckle. When Calista Jo first joined the family, Astrid looked like a giant next to her. Now Calista is more than double her size. MOL. Thanks for sharing such a cute post on the hop.
