Thankful Thursday in the Garden

I am going over the fence to look at flowers, do you want to come with me?

I think this is a Cypress Vine, but I am not sure.

We didn't plant it, it was a volunteer. But Mommy did plant some a LONG LONG time ago before I was born.

We determined from the seeds that this was a Sicklepod aka Coffeeweed.

I wonder why they call it Coffeeweed. I wonder if Mommy could use it to make coffee???

And a pretty little zinnia for a pop of color. ~Yang, reporting for ATCAD

We like your "volunteer" flowers. Our property has lots of those outside our fenced in yard.

Plants get funny names over the years; sometimes they don't make sense anymore!
