Mommy saved a ginormous caterpillar from the driveway just last night. This pretty picture reminded her that she wanted to look that caterpillar up and see which one it was . . . she'd never seen one like it before.
We haven't had many butterflies this year either. It is very puzzling. In fact we didn't start seeing the big butterflies until fall.
Tybalt, we hope your Mommy's ginormous caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly. Youngest boy bean put some caterpillars in a jar one time (with air holes) with some leaves and they turned into butterflies. Mommy and he let the butterflies out. It was neat watching them work to get their wings strong so they could fly. ~Socks
