Socks is still roaming around outside and it's our supper time. For some reason the beans will not feed us until we are all present and accounted for so we has to wait for Socks to show up. It is very RUDE of him to keep up waiting.
Everybody thanks for keeping us company while we wait......... ~Scylla & Charybdis
I just saw your goslings! How adorable! My geese only had 2 goslings this year. Last year 3, year before that 2. I don't know why they have so few! They were born April 21 and they're growing like crazy!
Don't worry guys I come in when it starts getting dark. The girls just like to eat early so they beat me up to the house. Actually Scylla hardly ever leaves the house.
We don't know why your geese have so few goslings Barb. Mommy says it's a miracle any goslings hatch at all and if they all make it to maturity that's another miracle. Ours left not long after that picture was taken so we don't know if 1.) any of the goslings are alive or 2.) where they go. They do it every year. They leave a few weeks after the goslings hatch. Mommy thinks they go into the next yard where the grass it higher and it's easier for them to hide from birds of prey. ~Socks

We were going to ask where Socks was, but we see you answered that in a comment. Tell Socks he will go without dinner if he keeps taking so long.
