Wildlife Wednesday

This Woodpecker has a nest in the tree. I can almost reach the nest. Before I reaches it the woodpecker attacks me and chases me out of the tree. Mommy said I better be careful or he would peck my brains out. And don't listen to my Mommy I did NOT fall out of the tree. I made a magnificent tumbling roll to escape the woodpecker.  ~Artemisia

  11. We have those pecky birdies too. They sure make a lot of noise! We (IZA and Marley) cant climb trees well, so we dont have ta do a deliberate tumble ta get away from them. Ayla could, but she hasta stays inside.
