Winsome Wednesday

There is a huge frog in Grandpa's pond.

He has turtles in their too. Grant likes to feed bread to the fish but sometimes other things come to eat it.

This is the top picture when Mom added more color. We sort of like the way it looks like a modern painting.

And now for the winsome portion of the post. Mom insisted on taking a picture with me. Don't worry about Mom's fashion accessory she went for her regularly scheduled mammogram.

As you can see I really didn't want to take pictures with her.

Scylla was outside checking on the plants.

She reported the Crinum looks gorgeous with it's blooms open.  Remember no touching it or nibbling on it.

Talking on Tuesday

Telling on Tuesday. Last May Mom went ate at Shaggy's  on the Beach (Biloxi MS) with cousin Sharon. While Mom was waiting to meet her she snapped a few selfies on the Back Bay.

Then they took some pictures at the beach. Mom got some sort of shrimp taco that was really good according to her and as you can see the view is pawesome. If you happen to be in Biloxi Mom recommends it for lunch if you want something casual and fun.

Our plants are blooming. This is a Crinum Lily. Our friend Chip was poisoned by a lily so we want to warn you they are poisonous to cats and dogs. That said we have never bothered them and don't have an issue with them. Mom says that she thinks and this is just what she thinks but that when cats are raised out doors they learn which plants are poisonous and which are OK and they pass the knowledge on to their offspring and friends. Socks taught us about plants. Anyway don't try to eat it, or brush against it. This plant is special to us as Mr Dietmar gave it to Mom and it reminds her of the day her and Tammy went looking for plants with them and helped them plant them.

And this is our Bottle Bush, Mom is allergic to it. ~ATCAD

Mewsings on Monday

Grandpa bought this wind chime for Mom, every time she hears it or sees it she thinks of him. It has company now Mrs Tammy got Mom a wind chime with a sweet message to remember Grandpa. We will show it to you later.

Mom has the hummingbird feeders out, it's time for them.

Mom hopes the hummers know how much work it is keeping their feeders cleaned and filled.

The plants are back in the yard.

We sure are going to miss Grandpa.

He always kept his yard really nice.

And he put hummingbird feeders out too. He already has a hummer visiting. Mom fixed his feeders.

Grandpa rooted lots of roses. It makes Mom smile to see them blooming. ~ATCAD

(Selfie) Scylla Sunday

Well I tried to take a selfie but Rosie photo bombed me. ~Fenris

Chimera and Yang went for a ussie.

Yin just yelled at us when we asked about doing a selfie, apparently she was ready for bed.

And Scylla was busy getting a drink before retiring for the night.

She likes to sleep in the cat carrier these day. ~ATCAD

Fenris Friday

Grandpa gave Mom these flowers. Every time they bloom she thinks of her Dad, we are going to miss him a lot.

I held down the fort while she was at the funeral. I wish I could have gone too Grandpa always said I was a good dog. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD
