We don't really know anything about the cat we called Marty. We assume that either someone moved away and left him/her or that someone dumped him/her at Sicily's thinking he would get feed or that someone would take Marty home. People did try, and while they succeeded in feeding Marty and could even pet Marty, he/she was very skittish and invaded capture. Today Marty's story came to an end, he/she was found dead on the other side of the road. Perhaps something scared Marty and he/she tried to run across the very busy street or perhaps he/she was trying to find his/her way home. We will never know, but we will remember the sweet kitty that meet an untimely end. ~ATCAD

I am so sad when I see an animal by the side of the road--no matter what kind. Poor thing could have been hit by a car or just succumbed to his hunger and poor health. Run free, Marty.
