A package arrived for us from across the pond!
Being a silly kitty I thought Mommy meant from across our pond but she said no she was referring to this thing called an Ocean and that our friend GJ and his Mum live in a place called the United Kingdom.
I think GJ is very handsome.
GJ and his Mum sent some presents to cheer Mom & company up cause they are so sad about Charybdis going to the rainbow bridge. Fenris was touched that they thought to include rawhide dog bones (he says they are very yummy to his tummy), Mommy loves Mr. Hugs (what she named the bear), and all us cats adore the Tuna strips ( we had never had them before).

This smells really good. I was very excited when I smelt it.
I knows you are probably wondering why I got to open the package. Well Socks was on a walk about and Scylla was pouting under the bed ( I thinks she was crying for Charybdis) and Fenris was outside enjoying the sunshine so I was the only one around when we got the package and we didn't think the others would mind. But we didn't open the tuna until Socks was home and Scylla was in a better mood! Mommy just can't get pictures of her feeding us treats cause Scylla is a very aggressive treat eater. She will tackle us all for treats, why one day she even knocked Mommy down because she was too slow giving her a treat. Good thing Fenris doesn't act like that. Anyway we talked it over and the others decided I could do the post as they were overcome with emotion in a good way and they thought I would do a good job of it. I hopes I did.

GJ and his mom sent us a package last year after Cal went to the bridge. It really helped to cheer up our sadness. They are so very thoughtful!

I also has good news. Scylla likes me a wee bit better. We even has a photograph of us sharing the bed with Mommy. It isn't very good as Mommy took it with her phone. Since I was sitting on her foot she couldn't get up and get the camera. ~Artemisia

How generous and thoughtful of GJ and his mom! Artemisia, you did a great post. You should be allowed to post one day a week, so that we can all look forward to seeing you on a regualr basis.
It helped a great deal GJ. One of the hardest things when Whiskers died was feeling no one understood our loss and feeling so alone (it was before I discovered cat blogging). Knowing other people understood how devastated we were by Charybdis' death and that others loved her too, helped a great deal. Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated. ~Alasandra & AFSS
