FrakenFenny Friday

I had this small bump on my head. Really I tried to tell Mommy that it wasn't anything, I was fine yada yada, you would have thought that considering she took Tuiren (stick out of jaw), Socks (bloodwork) and Scylla (semi-annual checkup) in just last Thursday she wouldn't be anxious to go back to the Veterinarian.  But did she LISTEN TO ME!!!!!

No!, she did not and this is the result.

The cone of shame and a very GROUCHY FENRIS.

 I am not happy.

And I will have to go back in ten days to have the staples taken out. ~Fenris, complaining loudly about being mistreated by Mommy and the Veterinarian

Alasandra: He had a cyst that was fixing to rupture. He should be fine and a happy camper, once his stitches are out and the cone is off.

  1. It almost seems like the cure is worse than the problem! At least it was nothing serious.

  2. Oh boy, F. Your head looks like my back a couple of months ago. Same deal - Cyst. Nothing. Surgery!! Staples!! YIKES! I escaped the cone of shame. Mom covered my staples with dresses for a couple of weeks. Good luck, buddy.

    Love and licks,

  5. Fenris, I can so relate! I hated wearing that stoopid cone. Though yours is much bigger than mine was. I hope you heal quickly so you lose that thing. ~Ernie

  13. Oh no! Not the cone of shame! At least your Mommy cares about you enough to have those little things checked out though. It would be horrible if something bad happened to you. *hugs* Get well soon.

  16. Oh no :-( Our boy Buzz had the same EXACT little mass and we had it removed as well. He also needed staples which were removed after 10 days. Thankfully he was able to wear a doggy jacket to cover the staples rather than the cone of shame. Hopefully everything goes well & the cone of shame will come off soon!

    1. Glad Buzz is OK, I wishes they had considered a hat for me instead of the satellite dish.
