Wild Bird Wednesday ~ Green Heron

We are very proud of Mommy when she startled the Green Heron, she used the tracking skills Socks taught her to see where he went and get his picture. First he flew up into a tree on the island.

Then he flew down to the lily pads.

You can read all about Green Heron's here.

  1. Oh, your green heron is very cool! Our human sometimes sees herons here, just a glimpse in passing. Maybe he'd like to make friends with you. :-)

  5. That is interesting, I had never heard of this kind. I love to see the blue herons nesting- they look prehistoric in swamp trees.
