Why are parents allowing teens to handle guns unsupervised? It's more then apparent that these teens lack "good judgement" among other things. We don't allow teens to smoke, we don't allow teens to drink alcohol, so why do we allow them to have guns?A 14-year-old fired a pellet gun at a school bus Monday morning, cracking a window, police said.

Flu Shuts Down Public School
Schools in Prentiss County were closed for a second day Friday after more than 250 students were out with stomach and flu viruses, according to Superintendent Kenneth Chism.

I thought you might be interested to know that there is a new novel about school violence that goes deep into the psychology of the students. Not only does it address the fighting in a high schol but also the home and street lives of these kids. The book is called Almost Columbine.
