Astronaut Fred Haise paid the children of St. Martin Upper Elementary an out-of-this-world visit to speak about his lifetime of adventures. Haise, 73, entertained the fourth-graders Thursday with tales of his trip into space as the lunar module pilot for Apollo 13 in 1970.

That’s awesome! I wish I had been able to meet some of these guys when I was a young’un.
Me too! I wouldn't mind meeting them now.
Haise is a Biloxi native, so I am going to see if I can contact him, and ask if he will consider speaking to my homeschool group.
