The cast and crew of "Guiding Light," the CBS daytime drama, shut down production in their New York studio this week to rebuild Biloxi homes damaged by Katrina.More than 25 "Guiding Light" actors and actresses flew to South Mississippi this weekend to celebrate the daytime drama's 70th anniversary and the unique yearlong partnership with the Hands On Network, a nationwide nonprofit rebuilding organization
"People think that since Katrina news is not in the headlines that things are up and running here. Well, things are not up and running, and we are here to help those who have fallen through the cracks," said actor Robert Bogue, who portrays "Guiding Light's" A.C. Mallet.
