From the Blog World

Mother Crone relates how she is an old soul. I found myself nodding my head in agreement when I was reading her post. It seems that most of my really close friends are older then I am. So sign me up for a pink hat Mother Crone.

From the New York Times

After a public school teacher was recorded telling students they belonged in hell if they did not accept Jesus as their savior, the school board has banned taping in class without an instructor’s permission, and has added training for teachers on the legal requirements for separating church and state.

Great so now the teachers can say whatever they want and their students will have no way to prove it.

At Why Homeschool read about homeschooling in pj's.

Absolutely! I find that the folks I gravitate toward in blogland are "old Souls" as well. Those people grounded in logic and morals and all that good stuff.

I'm telling you, we really need to plan a real-life blog buddies national meetup somewhere!

Good luck with enforcing that with the tiny little devices they have nowdays. Even a cell phone is a video recorder.

Reminds me of the fact that the ONLY "wrongful death" prosecuted at Abu Ghraib was the ONE that happened to be photographed by the troops in that photo spree. None of the others that weren't photographed were even investigated.

Oh, and that reminds me, did you see how France banned the taping of violent acts by anyone other than journalists???

Good luck with that one, too!
