The 15-year-old who took a loaded gun to school Tuesday didn't intend to harm anyone, authorities said, but the illegal act set in motion state laws and school policies that will change his future.
The student showed a classmate a .22-caliber pistol on the North Gulfport 7th & 8th Grade campus near the end of the school day, police and administrators said. Someone told the principal about 2:30 p.m.
