As a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast I was interested in the post at Pet Connections Blog about the Katrina Pet Custody Case heading for trial. My thoughts are with the Coutures and I hope they are able to reclaim their two dogs soon.
It looks like melamine may have gotten in hog feed. Some of the hogs that ate the contaminated feed have been slaughtered for human consumption. Are humans now at risk?
