Twelve-year-old Trey Perkins may be one of George County's newest political activists.
Since February, the sixth-grader at George County Middle School has been on a mission to show school district officials that many students and taxpayers are against a mandatory school-uniform policy put in place a few years ago.
He's hung up petitions all over the county, in stores and in restaurants, and so far he's collected 479 signatures from residents and students in support of abolishing the school-uniform requirement.
I wish you luck Trey and will be following your story with great interest. You can read the rest of the article in The Sun Herald.
