Gardens, Kittens & Odds N' Ends

The Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden is doing nicely. One of Hubby's co-workers donated a white wisteria to the garden. I can't wait to see it blooming next spring. The butterfly bush is blooming, it's a lovely dark purple (when I get a working camera I'll take a picture) and the butterfly weed is a nice shade of yellow. One of the camillas seems to be struggling, I am not sure what is wrong with it.

Scylla & Charybdis are growing bigger every day and getting in all sorts of trouble. Scylla's favourite sport is biting Sockie~Pooh's tail and pouncing on his tummy. They have learned to escape from the dining room/kitchen and are having a lovely time roaming over the rest of the house. They also enjoy playing outside under "Mommy's" watchful gaze. They will be going back for their nine weeks shots on the 16th.

Lord Epa will be having his wisdom teeth removed the 14th, we are going to take that week off, so he can recuperate.

Nice article in the National Geographic about Jamestown, that we will be using in our American History Unit.
