We had planned to go out on the river with the jet ski for the 4th of July, since eldest had the day off. Alas the weather didn't cooperate it has been pouring rain all day here so no picnic, fireworks or day at the river for us.
I did grill a steak on my trusty George Foreman grill, cooked some corn on the cob and a baked potato to go with it and made strawberry shortcake for desert so the day wasn't a total wash.
Later today I should be able to read the eagerly anticipated Carnival of Homeschooling hosted at The Homeschool Cafe.
