A former Metro student, now in film school in Chicago, and another local Nashville filmmaker have based their entries in a student film contest on the Metro uniform policy, also known as standard school attire. The 30 second Public Service Announcements, submitted to a free speech and students' rights film competition, are available on You Tube.
