Alasandra's Book Cub ~ The Amber Spyglass

To be honest I didn't care for the final book in Philip Pullman's Dark Materials trilogy. I was pleased that Lyra's Mother & Father did rise to the occasion and sacrificed themselves for her. I am glad Will did get a chance to know his Father if only briefly, and I am heartbroken that Will and Lyra had to part forever after finding each other. But overall I found the book plodding and very slow reading.
