Gosh, I had barely gotten used to it being 2007. Now I have to get used to writing 2008. It seems the older I get the faster time speeds by.
We are enjoying a nice restful day. It has FINALLY stopped raining here. It's nice to see sunshine, even if it is too cold and windy to enjoy going outdoors. I got some wind chimes for Christmas that I am enjoying listening too. I got them hung up yesterday.
We enjoyed a nice lunch of ham, cabbage, potatoes, and black-eyed peas. Alas I forgot to make cornbread. But on the other hand I have almost gotten caught up on the laundry. I am still working on getting the house back in order after the Christmas chaos.
I found a solution for the recurring gift card problem. There is a Books-A-Million in the same town Eldest attends University at, so he has been given the gift cards. Hopefully he'll be able to get at least one of his textbooks with them.
