To humans they look very beautiful and elegant but of course for cats they are too skinny, too hard and too dangerous for the teeth !

Gattina, I thought they made a nice anniversary gift. The artist is local. ~Alasandra

Marcia, we are sure the wooden birds were glad we found them unpalatable. ~The Cats

Crazy working mom, we will be right by to visit.

It's too bad that the wooden ducks aren't fun to play with.

Kitty,
Remind yourself that you have to catch a real one whenever you look at these two wooden ones.

Mine is up too.

Those birds are so graceful.
Mom's Daddy carved her some birds a long time ago. They don't taste good, either!

Jesie, we aren't allowed to catch real birds, Mommy likes them. But it is a nice thought. Real birds are fun to watch though and we can do that to our hearts content. ~The cats

Daisy, we agree the wooden lizard and the wooden birds probably taste the same.

Everybody, thank you for visiting us. ~Alasandra & The Cats

Nice birds! Good for the Wooden theme!!

Ah, but these birds are elegant! I'm sure their lack of taste is a survival characteristic.

Alastriona, The Cats and Dogs said...

Dragonstar you have a good point. Being tasteless wooden birds and no fun to play with has enabled them to survive our kitten exuberance.

Maybe Mommy should get more wooden stuff cause she gets really annoyed when we destroy her knick knacks.
