Looks like you'll be all set for the next 25 weeks!
Lol I was thinking the same thing.
I may try this too.
Great list.
Happy TT!!!
That was fun. I wonder what the alligators would say, though!
I love the way you did this. I'm going to do this someday A to Z. How cool. Have a great TT. :)
#7..Beautiful!
I am impressed that you have a pair of agate bookends. SS uses agate mortar and pestle for her work.
I wonder what the alligators would say too!
A lot of books. Does it get better?
Happy birthday in a few days!
A is a great Letter yes!!!
Because "A"dan is a great name~~
Hahahaha~~~~~*blush*
"A lot of books", haha, like that! I love Granny Smith apples, to eat and to put in my juicer for delicious juice!
Thanks for visiting my Dalai Lama quotes.
Amethyst and Amber, both of which I plan on getting for my birthday!
I always like Letter List. It's so interesting to see what others choose with so many possibilities.
Happy TT

Momo what does SS do?
Natalie, thank you.
Nothing is better then a lot of good books to read.
Everyone thank you for visiting my TT.
Great idea!

Amber is really pretty! My Mommie has some pieces of amber, and you can see little things in them. I like that they are very, very old.
ps: I know what the alligators would say: "Rrrrrroooooaaaaaar!"
SS is an archaeologist. She works with ceramics, specifically the chemical and mineralogical aspects. She uses the agate mortar and pestle to grind small pieces of ceramics into powder for chemical analysis. Oh, she does field work too and not just works in the lab or on the computer.
MoMo,
SS sounds like she has a very exciting career. My humans went on an archaeological dig at Beauvoir and one at Tullis Manor (with some college kids) as part of their homeschooling. We can visit Beauvoir when it reopens in the Fall. Hurricane Katrina destroyed Tullis Manor, but I think Mommy has some pictures of it I can show you if you are interested.

That sounds good. SS's stuff is not very pretty, mainly bits of ceramics. The field trips are more interesting - she has been working in western Iran and Cambodia and probably will be starting a project in the Altai Mountains, the mountain range that separates southern Siberia from northern Xianjiang.
Wow SS has been to some interesting places. Does she take you with her MoMo?
We have read about some of those places in the National Geographic.
Mommy and the human boys only found a confederate button and pieces of old china at Beauvoir. They were digging in a garbage pit. Oh and one year they found the old pipes that carried water to/from the house.
The year they were at Tullis Manor the big find was the tins from a pitch fork. That was actually the more interesting dig cause the college people had some equipment they could us to see below the ground and they saw the layout of an old Indian Village. (Mommy said they saw the moat).

Oh no, she leaves me behind all the time and her aunt or her sister looks after me when she is gone. I get pretty lonely then because those ladies do not cuddle or give scritches. They only feed me and clean my beddings. They even dispense with treats.
SS says the garbage pits are the best. You get to see what people used and how they lived. Even in historical period, people didn't always do what they said on documents.
Those detectors are good. SS's team used it in an Achaemenid settlement in south-western Iran and they turned up a royal rest station on the route between Susa and Persepolis. They are working on it right now but SS can't go this season because she is writing up her doctoral thesis for submission. She misses being there because it is beautiful countryside but it is good for me.
No treats, that is dreadful. You simply must come stay with us the next time she leaves you. Our Mommy will be happy to cuddle and give scritches.
She loves long haired cats. Somehow she winds up with short haired/medium haired cats. She loves us anyway, but she would go gaga over you.
