The ultimate in bad hair is having your tail shaved. The nasty infection is all gone and Mommy promised my hair would grow back ONE DAY. I hope it is soon!!!

I am glad your tail is all better. I have noticed that fur seem to take a long time to grow back. This seems strange.
It seems very strange to us too. What is really weird is my tail was shaved several weeks before Scylla's back was, but the hair on Scylla's back has almost grown back, while my tail hair is being very poky about growing back. ~Charybdis
Our cousin Tucker Scissorhands had a nasty infection on his tail when Mom first found him and it too had to be shaved. It did take some time to grow back, but I promise you - it did grow back!!
It looked like the same case with Papa Jon. He almost went bald. He's fine too now :)

I am glad that the mean infection is gone from your tail. Even though your hair is short on your tail you are still a pretty kitty. Don't worry it will grow back, your mom is right.
Thank you Sassy Kat, sometimes it is hard to feel pretty when your hair isn't cooperating. But after everyone's kind words I am feeling much better about my tail. And you are right the important thing is the mean infection is gone and I STILL HAVE A TAIL!!!! A hairless tail is much better then no tail. ~Charybdis
Don't worry - it just takes time. a partly hairless tail is definitely better than no tail.
We are glad the infection is gone, but remember: bald is beautiful! :)
Dragonheart & Merlin, Bald is beautiful as far as you two are concerned. You are very handsome mancats. Mommy says some bald beans are cute too, for example Sean Connery. She also insist my tail is very fashionable she calls it a poodle cut. I shall have to find a poodle to ask about that.
MoMo, you are so right. I love my tail, even in it's present hairless condition.
