Sadie Sue Update

We are so happy that someone adopted Sadie Sue, and her story has a happy ending. We are wishing her and her new family many years of happiness together.

On a sad note Emil has not returned home and it is assumed that he has crossed the rainbow bridge. We are purring for his family at this sad time.

You are very welcome Asta, we were thrilled to have good news to share about Sadie Sue, we were very afraid we wouldn't. We had to badger Mommy into going to the site to look because she was so afraid of what she would find. ~Socks, S & C

All we know is that she was adopted.

We were very worried too and Mommy decided that she would at least call and say we were interested in her and then beg Daddy to help us rescue her. He is our navigator and without him there is no way we would have gotten to her. If Mommy headed to Florida she would probably wind up in Alaska. But she knew that Daddy really wants to wait until we have a fence to get a dog (he has a soft heart though and would have wanted to rescue Sadie Sue). So she was very happy to hear that someone adopted her.

Hooray for Sadie Sue! I am glad to hear the good news. But I am sad about Emil. I will miss him.

We will miss Emil too. It is so hard to lose another friend. We are holding on to a tiny amount of hope that he is OK and will come back. Whiskers was gone for 2 weeks once and Mommy & Daddy had given up on ever seeing him again and then...........he woke Mommy up one night to tell her he was home. So we are hoping for another miracle. ~Socks, S & C

We're so glad Sadie Sue has a home.

But we're sad about Emil. However, like you, we're holding on to a ray of hope.
