Our Bugleweed is blooming, we like the blue spikes with the purple and green leaves. We just wish it would hurry up and fill up the whole bed. See the pretty hummingbird, it is a rain gauge. Mommy gave it to Daddy for their 21st anniversary.
The hibiscus are blooming up a storm.
I like to hide in the hibiscus. It is nice and cool under their leaves.

I'd love to hide there too!
Happy 4th!
These are nice photographs. Hope you have a nice weekend.
It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!
Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.
And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions
I don´t think mine will be a match to yours but even so ...
That's a pretty hibiscus plant! Ours just has plain red blooms.
Happy hiding, Scylla.
And happy 4th of July to all of you.
Hope your are having a Happy Fourth of July celebration. We are having a blast with Opus and Roscoe. Wish we could visit more but you know how it is. Oh well at least we get a little time once in awhile.

What a lush garden, very different from our desert environment!
Hi everyone, thank you so much for stopping by to see us. We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. ~Socks, S & C
Those are beautiful flowers!
Mom tried hybiscus, without success. It seems they require watering....
Luckily ours don't as Mommy is VERY BAD about forgetting to water things. We did plant them by the pond, so the water table is fairly high there, which probably helps. Most of the stuff down there is draught tolerant.
We have also been lucky enough to get rain when we need it, they seem to bloom more when we get rain. ~Socks, S & C
That looks like a lovely place to hide, Scylla..and you might see the odd mouse or vole saunter by..mightn't you? Thanks for coming by to see me!
You are very welcome Angus, we wish we could visit our friends more often. It's a great place for viewing birds. For a mouse or vole we lay under the azaleas as there is a field next to them full of mousies and voles. You shall have to come visit us and go hunting. ~Scylla
Stop by when you can. We tagged you for a meme.
nice shoots
