Mr. Chen dares you all to come up with one creative, fun, useful way to save the environment and put a picture of yourself doing it on your blog!
We were very poky doing this, we bet Karl gave up on us but we had to give it some thought.
We loves to read. So we replaced our old light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs. And we just use the reading lamp by Mommy's chair, we don't turn on the big overhead light.
According to the Energy Star website
If every American home replaced just one light bulb with an ENERGY STAR qualified bulb, we would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes for a year, more than $600 million in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of more than 800,000 cars.
So you might say we are saving the world one light bulb at a time.

Great job on your dare! Roscoe and I had our dare finished before he left for the bridge. Tomorrow we will get it posted.

Hi Opus,
It is so good to see you. We are thrilled you came to visit us. Come sit in the butterfly garden with us, it's nice and cool today and the butterflies & dragonflies are fluttering about.
We can't wait to see the dare you and Roscoe did.
