Please Spay & Neuter Your Pets

A Valley rescue group is in desperate need of help after a woman with 75 cats pleaded for their assistance. The cat owner, who asked not to be identified, told the Lost Our Home Pet Foundation she was overwhelmed with the cats and needed help finding them a new home because she was moving.

The woman said things got out of control when she rescued a stray cat she found outside several years ago.“She had some babies and she was about ready to die so we brought her in.”Several litters later, her home was full of cats and she was overwhelmed. “We couldn't’afford to have them spayed or neutered so as a result they kind of multiplied.”

If only everyone would look at the big picture. A small expense up front for spaying or neutering will save so much money and heartache later on.

This is so sad. We don't have any low cost spay/neuter around here and it's expensive. Too many folks just let their animals breed and turn them all in to the shelter or hand them out at the Wal-mart parking lot.

We wish there were more low cost spay and neuter programs.

But I have to agree with Daisy. They probably spent more in catfood then IF they had had the original cats spayed & neutered. ~S,S & C
