That is so pretty. What type of plant is that? I don't think we have that here up north!!

It is Lantana, it comes in lots of different colors. We have it in purple, yellow & pink and the color pictured here. ~S,S & C

That is a pretty butterfly! Maybe it is one that I hatched!

Daisy, we thought it looked familiar, we bet it is one you hatched. `S,S & C

Wow! The cat blogosphere really is close. We would never have guessed Daisy's butterfly would end up in Whisker's garden. :)

It's a beautiful photo.

Pretty butterfly! We haven't had many coming by this spring, wonder why?

Mommy saved a ginormous caterpillar from the driveway just last night. This pretty picture reminded her that she wanted to look that caterpillar up and see which one it was . . . she'd never seen one like it before.

We haven't had many butterflies this year either. It is very puzzling. In fact we didn't start seeing the big butterflies until fall.

Tybalt, we hope your Mommy's ginormous caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly. Youngest boy bean put some caterpillars in a jar one time (with air holes) with some leaves and they turned into butterflies. Mommy and he let the butterflies out. It was neat watching them work to get their wings strong so they could fly.
