I heard from Momo and she is eating a little but still isn't wanting to be touched or move around. I am praying so hard that she gets better soon!!!!!!!
Effun if she is vaccinated- its impossible to vaccinate for EVERY kind of disease. It could be a virus thats not so common - the feline distemper vaccine has i think 3 components- it vaccinates for the most common. And the Leuk vxn vaccinates for just leukemia. But they don't have tons of cat vaccines.
Its sad, but it happens. Unfortunately who knows what she could've picked up outside- has her mom checked her for bite wounds? She might want to take her temp too.
Thanks for the information Tesla and Hansel. I also read this today.
There is a report on an (what appears to be) a cat-only discussion forum based in New South Wales, of a small number of cats allegedly suffering from a paralytic condition caused by the over-irradiation of Orijen cat food upon its importation into Australia.
Posters on the site have not referenced any media reports. One poster suggests that some form of public announcement is to be made "sometime next week". (That poster uses the title "Administrator".)
