We got a cat that eats bugs

Orlando Bun - I dare you all to write or adjust a song for somebunny special! We are adjusting. This also works for our dare.

Socks, Scylla, CharybdisWe dare you all to write a song/a parody of a song and then – optional - create a music video! We wish our Mommy/Typist had the skills necessary to create a music video, but sadly she doesn't.

We did a parody of Phil Collins Groovy Kind of Love, with help from Daddy (and additions from Mommy). He made this up about Dingo, a cat he and Mommy found abandoned on the beach after they got married. She was their first cat as a couple.

We got a cat that eats bugs
Dedicated to the memory of Dingo

When we are feeling blue, all we have to do Is take a look at you,
then we aren't so blue
When you're close to us, we can hear your purr
hear you breathing near our ear.
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a cat that eats bugs.

We got a cat that eats bugs
We got a cat that eats bugs, oh
We got a cat that eats bugs

When we are feeling blue, all we have to do
Is take a look at you, then we aren't so blue
When your in our arms, nothing seems to matter
Our whole world could shatter, we don't care
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a cat that eats bugs

We got a cat that eats bugs
We got a cat that eats bugs, oh
We got a cat that eats bugs

Very very nice (your beans write and rhyme well!)... and thank you for showing our blind-as-a-bat bean where that poor mouse is (or now... was...)

The only thing better would have been Phil Collins singin' that as background music to a video of your parents with Dingo! That was great!

This could be one of our songs, because we love crickets and moths!

Dingo was a wonderful cat, she was very protective of Mommy when she was pregnant. And she ate lots of mosquitoes.

Mommy loved her very much.

We are glad everyone liked our song. We wish we could show you a picture of Dingo, but Dingo lived before digital cameras came into Mommy's life. One day when she has lots of time and lots of patience (cause our scanner is contrary) she will try to scan one of the pictures of Dingo in.

Zoolatry, your bean shouldn't feel bad Mommy took the picture and she had trouble finding the Mousie. It's a good think they don't have to hunt for a living. ~Scylla

River, we guess it could be a (shh......rat), ____ but that really freaks Mommy out so we will call it a mousie.

Angus Mhor, we would like for Daddy to sing it for us, we think he sings even better then what's his name. ~S,S & C
