More San Diego flowers, I saw these at Mission Trails Regional Park. The above photo is of a
Christmas Berry. Apparently the Kumeyaay would eat the berries if there wasn't anything else to eat. The berries do contain cyanide so the rangers advised against trying them.
This is a
San Diego Sunflower.
Sorry I don't know the names of two of the plants.

That last one is really unusual: it has such a pretty, exotic flower but the stem looks like a weed!
Mommy thought the same thing. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis
The last one belongs to the Oenothera. There are several and some smell very nice at night... They are popular flowers here in Germany! They have such a special yellow colour...
Such beautiful flowers. I bet a lot of the ciuntry wishes that they had such weather as San Diego does!

Thanks for telling us about the Oenothera, Mommy loved the yellow color.
Abby, we certainly wish we had Sandy Eggo weather today. It is very cold here. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis
