Flowers on Friday
This is the flowerbed Daddy made for us around the bird feeder. It is a raised bed now. Much nicer then the one Mommy made. Mommy planted Four O'clocks, Cypress Vine and Dill in there. Daddy is going to rock up the flower bed and make it pretty.
This is a close up of the Dill. Doesn't it look pretty. And now we have a question for all you gardening kitties. After this picture was taken we had some bad weather and the Dill got broken off. As you can tell the stalks were very tall and slender, so's we had to cut it back. Our question is will it come back? We have our paws crossed that it will.

Flowers and bird eater. Perfect!
It's a great place for cats to sit and enjoy life. ~S,S, & C
That is a wonderful raised bed. The PM is planning her herb garden and was going to put a bird feeder or bath in the center but she then started worrying about herbs covered in bird poop. Any such issues with the dill? Before they took a tumble of course.

Don't ask me, I can kill a plant just by bringing it home! Luckily, my Dad is very good at gardening.

Delilah: Uh oh. I think that your dill might be an "annual." Thant means if you kill it, it's dead. Of course, there may be a type of perennial dill, which will reincarnate itself. Does that help???
What a wonderful yard!
At mom's old house she musta had perennial dill cuz the dill came back every year bigger and bigger...you couldn't get rid of it! So if you have perennial dill, it will come back! We hope it does!
We shall keep our paws crossed. When we went watered the flowerbed today there was a small stalk coming up next to one of the old ones so maybe we has perennial dill. ~Scylla
Looks like a great nibble.
The raised bed came out so well - wait till those four-o'clocks blossom - they are so pretty.
The dill in our garden comes back year after year. It is very hardy, so I think you dill will come back, too.
