Flowers on Friday

These flowers are growing in the flower bed in the front of our house. This is another African Daisy. We showed you the white one Wednesday.

You can see it again here with the Foxglove. This is our first time growing Foxglove and we love it.

This is a view of the whole flower bed.

Mommy likes Snapdragons so we got some of them too, but they all died. We has no idea why. If anyone knows about Snapdragons we would appreciate advice on how to grow them as Mommy and Daddy both like them. That is Pineapple Sage in front of the Snapdragons, it is blooming now.

We has Purple Heart in the bed too.

Your garden is lovely. What lovely colours you have.

Mum had a problem with snap dragon too, it didn't last long. Maybe they are not very hardy.

Such a beautiful selection. The purple daisy is as pretty as the white one. Mom loves foxglove - our neighbor has a beautiful one in bloom now - it looks like it has about 75 bells on one stem.

My Mommie said when she was a little girl, she would take snapdragon flowers and make them "talk" by pressing on the sides. Do you know what I mean?

Mommy said she never had a chance to try that as no one she knew had snapdragons when she was little, but she thinks they make a snap sound when you do that and that is how they got their name. She was going to try that with these but they deaded before she remembered to do it. Grandma in-law's snapdragons are still doing good. Mommy saw them Memorial Day when they went to visit.

We don't even know what kind of flower a snapdragon is. But it's sad when the flowers die.
